Merrkatt is a hypothetical "pitch project", where students were assigned to design hypothetical branding for a product, process, and/or service that seeks to improve the experience of everyday life. Students were instructed to use the Ten Steps of Designing for Social Change developed by Andrew Shea in development, and pick topics that hit close to home. Ideas were then presented as mounted 18 x 24 infographic posters.
Merrkatt is a "mobile games meets social media", connecting people despite their differences through simple puzzle games allowing people to find common interest and have something to talk about! Merrkatt's versatility allows its users to engage with making friends as much or as little as they like, letting anyone to the platform to their own comfort level.
